co-location VR experience

Odyssey is a VR project that tells the stories of care experienced young people. It was co-designed and written through a series of sessions with young people in care, and was developed in partnership with Derby Theatre and Derby University. Odyssey is a walkaround co-location VR performance for audiences of up to 6 people, who share the same stories and the same physical and virtual space in real time, together. 

Odyssey won the prestigious Stage Award for ‘Best Digital Project’ 2022. The award sits proudly in our office and inspires us to keep making great work that pushes the boundaries of what is possible.
