Paul Long

FOUNDER
Paul is a founding member of MBD. Since 1997 he has written, produced and directed shows for a variety of settings including theatres, galleries, museums, castles, car parks…. you name it.
More recently, he has led MBD's transformation into an immersive media production company. Paul persistently pushes MBD to the boundaries of the Arts and Culture sector. Away from the office Paul enjoys food, films, and family (or any combinations of the above).
Ian Cadwallader

HEAD OF OPERATIONS
Ian kicked off his professional journey as an auditor, double-checking other folks' numbers for accuracy. Fast forward to today, and he's the guardian of MBD's digits! As Head of Operations, Ian is responsible for finance, planning, governance and other back-office functions. When he's not immersed in the operational world, catch him engaging in board games, getting some quality scratches from his cat, or tuning into podcasts while plotting out his next delicious meal.
Ellie Brooks

PROJECT LEAD
Ellie oversees and coordinates project planning and delivery. With a passion for embracing both physical and mental challenges, she ensures effective communication and collaboration among the team. Beyond the office, you'll often find her scaling the bouldering wall or swiftly manoeuvring across the field with a hockey stick in hand!
Andy Leeke

CREATIVE LEAD
Andy has been working in the arts for over 20 years, covering areas such as animation, visual effects, graphic design, theatre production and projection mapping. Among other things, he's responsible for concept art and the development of the visual aesthetics of all MBD projects. Outside work, you will find Andy looking for his next Star Wars piece of collection, playing video games or watching Formula 1!
John Whall

PARTICIPATION & OUTREACH LEAD
John is the person who shapes and executes our community engagement. This involves leveraging VR, 3D animation and design, Projection, AR, and related digital skills for artwork creation and delivery. With over 15 years of experience in participatory and community practice, he advocates for collective sector development and serves as the Specialist Interest Representative in Digital for Engage Visual Arts, Digital Champion for the East Midlands Participatory Arts Forum (EMPAF).
Ant Clark

SENIOR DEVELOPER
Ant is a games design graduate and now works for MBD as a Senior Creative! Ant spends most of their time either getting annoyed at Unreal Engine or in Blender making things! Outside work, they love playing video games while enjoying a nice espresso.
Philippa Day

XR DEVELOPER
During her 11-year at NSC Creative, Philippa mastered diverse skills in media, specializing in fulldome and large format production. Her expertise in CG artistry and tools development contributed significantly to award-winning fulldome shows. At MBD, her VR, app development, virtual production and CGI skills shine in many different projects. In her free time, she loves climbing, watching films and gaming.
Luna Beauvois

XR DEVELOPER
Meet Luna Beauvois, the XR Creative fresh out of college. Luna stumbled into this wild world through an internship and has spent the last two years perfecting her game (literally). Her passions lie in Technical Art, Virtual Production, and Motion Capture, making her the office "All-Rounder"—think of her as the Swiss Army knife of creativity. Games engines are Luna's playground. Swing by her desk for a chat about tech, imagination, or the latest game drops. See her in the virtual trenches!

Chitraj Singh

Chitraj (Raj) Singh, CEO and founder of MindHug, blends a decade of financial services experience with a passion for mental health innovation. After graduating with a BSc. in Economics from LSE in 2007, Chitraj spent nearly a decade in financial services in the city of London, mostly at the Bank of England and Financial Regulators. Recognized for his contributions, Raj advises startups across diverse domains and holds positions on prestigious alumni boards.
Hannah Brookes

Hannah, founder of The Mighty Venue People, brings over two years of Advisory Board experience and a background in customer experience and commercial development. With senior management roles at the National Space Centre, Swim England, and the University of Leicester, she offers diverse sector expertise.
Dorothy Francis

With 38 years in co-operatives and social enterprise, Dorothy specializes in employment law and HR, advocating for diversity and women's empowerment. Recognized with an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Leicester and an MBE, she champions equality and holds esteemed positions in management and personnel development. Dorothy's impact extends through her inclusion in the NatWest WISE 100 Leading Women in Social Enterprise.
Kaitlin Fritz

Kaitlin Fritz is an award-winning entrepreneur, enterprise educator, and business coach who has supported hundreds of impact founders globally. Since cofounding an arts-focused edtech business in 2018, she has worked to make entrepreneurship more accessible. She has designed global acceleration programs, taught in UK universities like UCL and Cambridge. Her work has been recognized by Forbes, Great British Entrepreneur, and Startups Magazine.
Simon Hollingworth

Simon, known as Mr. Holly, is a Lincolnshire-based freelance Creative Producer with over 30 years in the arts sector. Formerly the Director of Lincoln Drill Hall, his freelance work includes collaborations with various projects and festivals such as Frequency Festival of Digital Arts and Transported Arts. Simon's skillset, along with a longstanding admiration for MBD's work, makes him a valued member of the Advisory Board.
