THE PROJECT

Empire Soldiers is a poignant tribute to the often overlooked contributions of Caribbean and South Asian troops during World War 1. Comprising two immersive VR films, this project was conceived to mark the centenary of the war's end, commemorating the bravery and sacrifices of these unsung heroes. Empire Soldiers breaks the boundaries of traditional storytelling by blending live-action filming with innovative VR technology, resulting in an immersive and interactive viewing experience. Our approach to creating Empire Soldiers was truly groundbreaking, as we combined the elements of VR and live performance to produce a unique hybrid experience.
