YOUNG PERSON WORKSHOPS

Calling All Young Creatives!

Are you 11-18 years old and excited about digital design, storytelling, or immersive technology? This is your chance to join our exclusive workshop and help create an exciting new virtual reality (VR) experience!

We’re looking for 6-10 young people passionate about design, technology, or storytelling to collaborate with immersive storytellers MBD. Together, you’ll create a short VR level inspired by the history and heritage of Ayscoughfee Hall, which will be showcased to the public in 2025.

Over the course of four fun, hands-on workshop days, you’ll work with other young creators and MBD’s professional team to help build a 3-5 minute VR experience. You’ll learn:

  • Storyboarding: Learn how to map out your creative vision.

  • 3D Scanning: Capture real-world objects and environments for digital use.

  • Basic 3D Modelling: Build your own 3D models and bring them to life.

  • Game engine environment Building: Combine all elements to create a digital world in the Unreal Engine

How to apply:

To apply, tell us why you’re excited to participate! Send us a short statement explaining your interest, along with your name, age, school (if applicable), address, and contact details, to NPO@e-lindsey.gov.uk.
