PAINT TO PIXEL VR
360 VR EXHIBITION
THE PROJECT
Paint To Pixel is a Virtual Reality exhibition that charts the history of UK graffiti. It features interviews with prominent UK artists and personal photo archives that cover 6 decades of graffiti writing. Part of the exhibition is now available to be seen as an in-person exhibition at the Leicester Museum & Art Gallery.
The experience takes you across five galleries: Early UK Graffiti, Criminalisation, Growth of UK Graffiti, New York Origins, and Trains, each with their own curated artwork and voiceover. At the heart of the experience is Graff Central - our train station that can take you to the galleries and has the calling card of graffiti artists on every corner.
Hear interviews about the illegal art of train graffiti and learn the lengths that the legal system will go to deter graffiti writers. From the roots of graffiti in 1970s New York to the explosion of Street Art in popular culture and urban festivals, visit each gallery to unlock all the artwork at Graff Central Station!

HOW WE DID IT
Paint to Pixel, our Virtual Reality exhibition chronicling the history of UK graffiti, was a labor of passion and innovation.
Our process involved meticulous curation of personal photo archives spanning six decades, alongside insightful interviews with prominent UK artists. Using cutting-edge technology like Unreal Engine, we meticulously recreated five distinct galleries, each representing a pivotal aspect of UK graffiti history and in which the viewer has a highly interactive role.
